Online Courses
Online driver education is in ever increasing demand! Our Idaho approved curriculum is top notch and consists of 30 mandated hours of coursework. The program can be completed at the student's own pace. We do encourage completion within 90-days, but students have the ability to take a longer period of time if needed. To register for the online program, the student must first purchase a permit from the DMV.
The student will need to bring the following documentation:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Picture ID (yearbook, ASB card, passport, state ID)
- VOC (Verification of Compliance) Letter from his/her school unless home schooled. If the student is home schooled the parent or guardian can sign an affidavit at the DMV rather than obtaining the VOC letter.
Please tell the DMV you are using NICDE or Jason Jerome as the driving school. Once we have both the permit and registration, the coursework will be emailed. Grab a drivers manual from the DMV as well.
Behind-the-wheel training can begin once the coursework is 100% complete.
Tuition is $475.00 which includes all coursework and behind-the-wheel training. Appointments are scheduled as two-hour blocks with one student in the vehicle at a time.
